BRINM Information
Upcoming Regional Meeting
The Biomedical Research Institute of New Mexico (BRINM) was incorporated on February 10, 1989 and has proven to be an effective means for administering research and education funding. Since then, it has become a well-established full service institution with a growing number of active research investigators, projects and staff, employing more than 85 full time and part time individuals and administering more than $9 million annually in funding. Some of the contributions BRINM regularly makes to support the VA research program are:
· Bridge funding
· Infrastructure support
· Research related travel funding
· Funding for research and education relevant workshops
· Hiring services
· Statistical consultation services
· Equipment purchases and maintenance
· Conference planning
The BRINM administrative office is located on the grounds of the New Mexico VA Healthcare System in Building #14.
