Post Doctoral Research Scholar
Under the supervision of the PI, the post-doc will work on research projects, design and carry out experimental protocols, obtain regulatory approval, perform a variety of Cellular and Molecular assays, data analysis, interpretation and presentation of the results, prepare manuscripts and submit for publication. The post-doc will also prepare and submit grant proposals.
Ph.D. in Life sciences or related fields. Proficient with general cellular, molecular and immunologic techniques, including cell/tissue culture, mononuclear cell/lymphocyte separation, RT-PCR, real-time PCR,ELISA, gel electrophoresis, western blot, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry. In addition, qualified individual should be eager to learn new techniques, have the ability to perform literature search, formulate hypothesis, carry out proposed research systematically and meticulously, able to trouble shoot, analyze and present the data, prepare manuscripts and grant proposals,under the guidance of the mentor. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photoshop, working knowledge of SPSS program and basic statistical analyses.
